Katatonia will release a new album, entitled “Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State,” on June 06, 2025 via Napalm Records. The album was produced by band leader Jonas Renkse, recorded by Lawrence MacKrory (Lik, Meshuggah, Katatonia, High Parasite), mixed by Adam Noble (Leprous, Placebo, Biffy Cluyro, Nothing But Thieves) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (Leprous, The 1975, Placebo, The Gaslight Anthem).
Jonas Renkse says: We are proud and excited to announce our new album, “Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State”, due out on 6 June via Napalm Records. As always, these songs are stories hidden from the light, but waiting to come to life in the twilight of our morbid existence. Here is the first taste ‘Lilac’.”
