[News] Kozoria published the official video for the track “Reborn” taken from upcoming debut album

Black Lion Records is thrilled to present “The Source,” French Progressive Metal band Kozoria’s debut album, set for release on October 11, 2024 on CD and digital platforms. Watch the official video for the track “Reborn” through the YouTube player below:

Formed in 2016, Paris-based Kozoria stands at the crossroads between Gojira’s aggressive intensity and Devin Townsend’s eclectic artistry, all while rooted in Thrash and Death Metal and accented by Progressive, modern flair. Known for their intense, dynamic, and interactive live performances, the French quartet has already made their mark on concert halls and festivals across France (Keudfest, Normandy Metal Fest, Metal Story, Rock’N’Live, etc.), sharing stages with prominent acts in the Progressive and Metal scenes.

On “The Source,” Kozoria paints a romantic and dramatic universe, with each track depicting a story that explores the anxieties of human beings facing the violence of their own emotions. The hostility of these environments often mirrors internal conflicts, intertwined with paradoxes.

Capturing a dark and visceral energy, with songwriting that serves contemporary narratives, the album unfolds with polyphonic layers that create contrasts, induce dual meanings, evoke ironic twists, or invigorate the main melodies. Though darkness pervades the album, moments of brightness and vitality break through, offering hope amidst the chaos.

With the new album on the horizon, Kozoria is eager to embark on a European tour.
