Portland’s high Desert Psych Fuzz collective Sun Blood Stories will release their eagerly anticipated album “Shadow Loud” on October 4, 2024.
“Sun Blood Stories is still here after 12 years. We are fueled by paranoia and hope, wonder and rage, and we do what we do like it’s the last time we’ll do it because one day, it will be.
We are a mass of harmonic noise distilled into occasionally delicate, but always haunting songs.
Over the years the band has taken on many forms. We are now in the sixth chapter of the Sun Blood story. Chapter five was a real cliffhanger. To recap: some of the band members took flight in opposite directions, others stayed rooted and the future, as always, felt like it never was and never will be, while simultaneously hurtling towards us in its inevitability.”
