By the end of January 2025, the second work by the band from Ferrara, one of the most appreciated representatives of Italian Progressive music in recent years, will be released. A concept album with many new features
Another hand of cards: coming soon: the new album by Limite Acque Sicure!
“Also in this new work we have adopted a theme, the concept this time is the telling of life experiences by characters, sometimes fictional and sometimes real, sometimes current and sometimes remote in time. We touched on deep, little-known and sometimes uncomfortable topics. Always, in the end, with a thread of hope, with a ray of light that points to a solution. The record is a metaphor for the randomness of fate, which assigns each person a specific story, a particular path in life.”
By the end of January 2025, the Limite Acque Sicure will release their new album, their second, entitled “Un’Altra Mano Di Carte“: a concept, as the Ferrarese sextet declared, different from their debut album. If in the eponymous LP released in the autumn of 2022, “Limite Acque Sicure” explored the philosophy of change, risk and evolution, both human and artistic, in “Un’Altra Mano Di Carte” they tell stories: stories of marginalisation, of distant (perhaps false) memories of a better life, of abuse. Stories of reflection on wickedness, stories of rebellion, of shots of pride.
Founded in 2005, and reaching their final sextet formation in 2016, the members of Limite Acque Sicure have different backgrounds and horizons, from Metal to Fusion, from Classical to Rock and have found in this alchemy the secret of their formula. The debut album has been received with great enthusiasm by Italian and foreign critics: foreign publications such as Audion, IO Pages and Empire, but also our own Progressive Rock Journal, Classic Rock, Buscadero and Campi Sonori, have emphasised the skill, talent and competence of the six musicians.
The band will soon announce the release date, track titles, label and distribution, and cover art. It is appropriate to say… stay tuned.
