Vancouver, Canada based Doom Metal/Rock outfit Lodestar have just released their second studio album “Event Horizon” on June 26, 2022. Stream the album through the YouTube player below:
“Event Horizon” the second studio album from Lodestar. Follows the debut self-titled album released last year in May. The new album, focuses more on the Doom side of the band, focusing on more longer songs and slow methodical guitar riffs. The band members remain the same, with Kate at the forefront and Jensen on guitar. A new track titled “Redeem Myself” showcases special guest vocalist Mary Perpetual aka (ArmY) from the band Perpetual Fate. This album also introduces a new mixing and mastering engineer Riccardo Pasini from Studio 73.
For the first time ever, Lodestar will be releasing physical copies of “Event Horizon” for purchase. The new album is now available on CD on the bands Bandcamp page. As for what comes next? The band has already gotten songs being worked on for a 3rd studio album! Hopefully to release next year in 2023 on CD as well.
