Dive into the dystopian universe of “A Brilliant Future,” a sonic journey where Maanen Faces’ Psychedelic Stoner Rock captures the torments of a hyper-connected world. Here, humans are nothing more than modern slaves, drained of their essence and intellect, subjugated by machines and the elites who control them. Through six hard-hitting tracks, this new album explores social uprising, transhumanist drift, and enslavement by artificial intelligence, as well as work-induced suffering, family disintegration, and the escape from death. A dark atmosphere, raw energy, and an uncompromising vision of a future where progress is just another name for oppression.
