“Tlauelilok” is the debut single by Mexican drummer and composer Demian Burgos, prior to his debut EP soon to be released. The piece is influenced by Rock In Opposition and Zeuhl, reflecting the different mental landscapes of a confused and cloudy being; dark, abstract, aggressive, happy, short landscapes. Each section transports us to ephemeral and surreal sensations of madness (the composer’s own madness).
“Tlauelilok” means in Náhuatl Huichol dialect: crazy, evil, perverse.
