Timisoara, Romania based Psychedelic Rockers Methadone Skies have unveiled the official video for the single “’87 via ’94” taken from their upcoming new album, “Spectres At Dawn,” which will see the light on October 25, 2024. Watch the video for through the YouTube player below:
Methadone Skies comments: “We are so happy to announce our 6th album ‘Spectres At Dawn’ coming out on October 25. After ‘Retrofuture Caveman,’ we felt that we were either going to release a full blown post-rock album or move into different sonic territories. In the end, we chose the second option while composing shorter tracks. As usual, we ended up trying out different ideas, some tracks became longer than we expected, so there’s a bit of everything you’ve heard from us so far, as well as interesting new parts.
‘Spectres At Dawn’ was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Consonance Studio in Timisoara, Romania by our long time friends Andrei Jumuga and Cristian Popescu. As per usual our brother Marius Muntean (The Thirteenth Sun, Black Water) added his synth magic on one of the tracks and the artwork, layout, and design was crafted by Alexandra Dragu aka Eclecticat Design.

We will embark on a Romanian tour this fall, more details on the follow up post, and we are planning the European tour as we speak, so we will be around in the near future.
