The “Prog in the Park 2.0” Festival to be held saturday April 4, 2020 will have the honor of hosting a lineup made up of great artists from the Prog scene. On stage they will play:
The Scottish Pink Floyd: Headlining are a fantastic Glasgow-based tribute to Pink Floyd covering tracks from Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Division Bell and more!
Alan Reed and The Daughters of Expediency: Alan Reed is a singer and musician from Glasgow. He is probably best known as the (former) singer with progressive rock band Pallas. He has also appeared on albums by Abel Ganz, Caamora, Neo, Parzival’s Eye and Strangers on a Train.
Long Earth: Long Earth came together by a series of fortunate but unexpected coincidences. Born from an agenda of no agenda, the principal from the outset was to create a musical adventure with no preconceived plan of the final destination.
This Winter Machine: This Winter Machine formed in mid 2016 after a series of ads led to jams that quickly turned into writing sessions. Members have shared a stage with artists as diverse as Marillion and Uriah Heep, Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, Magnum and Uli Jon Roth.
Clockwork Angels: Established in 2012 this fantastic tribute to Rush will be performing at Prog in the Park 2.0.
Ali Ferguson Band: Currently best known as touring and recording guitarist for such artists as Genesis and Stiltskin vocalist Ray Wilson, 80s world pop legends Red Box and lauded Scottish singer/songwriter Dougie Maclean, gigs that have seen him perform to hundreds of thousands of people all over Europe, Ali Ferguson is also a well respected solo artist in his own right.
Jennifer Clark: A lifetime passion for
music composing, arranging, performing, producing,
recording and listening has enabled Jennifer to become skilled in both the creative and technical aspects of bespoke music production.
