“Mosaique” was Robert‘s third album after “Harmonic Ascendant” and “Floating Music” and it takes us back to the sounds of the early 80s (including the track “ComputerVoice“). Complemented by guitar (Charly Büchel), bass (Rob Van Dyk) and drums (Tommy Betzler), on “Mosaique” Robert uses the legendary PPG Wave 2 for the first time to create impressive atmospheres that lie somewhere between “Floating Music” and “Cygnus-A.” The sound for this 2025 edition has been refreshed amazingly well (!). Now “Mosaique” sounds in first-class sound quality for its age (1981) and, with two special bonus tracks (“Syntropia” and “Galactical“), is a must for Schroeder fans of the 80s. “Galactical” alone is worth the purchase!
