Dallas, Texas based Desert/Stoner Metal act Sons of Gulliver published the official music video for the single “Feeding the Horse” from self-titled EP out on May 26, 2024. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
On the spurred, dirt-caked heels of their self-titled debut EP earlier this year, Texas bass ‘n’drum Rockers Sons of Gulliver are stoking the fire with a new music video for their track “Feeding the Horse.”
Justin Potter and Dolphin Riot shot the video themselves at the famed Area 276 spaceship, a Futuro House designed in the 1960s by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen, in Rockwall, Texas.
Riffing on the tongue-in-cheek, bizarro alien adventures at the heart of “Feeding the Horse,” the Sons lay down a retro sci-fi-fueled boogie experience.
In the band’s own words:
“This was a hell of a good time, and for filming ourselves, we think it turned out pretty darn good! Big thanks to Todd Johnson for letting us use Area 276 for filming. Expect to see us ripping up stages in major and minor cities in and around Texas. The stage is our home, and the world is our back yard. The sky’s the limit.”
Sons of Gulliver tore up stages across the Lone Star State in 2024, and will be bringing their groovy, Sludgy Rock’n’Roll party out of Texas and to new frontiers in 2025. Keep your eyes peeled and dancin’ boots shined, this boogie van has longhorns on its grill and Mad Max at the wheel.
