Available now across all streaming platforms since Friday, October 9, 2026, the new single from dark music project Cavrvm translates the visceral thunder and explosive rhythm of Spain’s iconic mascletà into a striking modern soundscape.
Post Circvs is my reinterpretation, or rather, my reimagining of a mascletà (a fireworks display typical from Valencia, Spain).
The track builds an immersive bridge between Spanish cultural tradition and modern underground genres, blending cold-wave energy, Heavy Industrial textures, driving Post-Punk basslines, dense Dark Ambient atmospheres, and relentless Industrial percussion.
Last March, during the Fallas festival, I recorded a raw and acoustically violent Mascletà with my cell phone. A couple of months later, I saw a live performance by the Belarusian post-punk band Molchat Doma, and right after that, I knew exactly what to do.
