Three years after their latest sonic bomb “Cosmic Ritual Supertrip,” mighty Italian Stoner Rockers Black Rainbows are ready to kick the dust with their trademark fire: be ready to embrace the full power of new album “Superskull.” With this ninth album in 15 years of career, the Roman trio has pushed their songcraft further, delivering enough asphalt-burning rippers to skyrocket any listener into the stratosphere, while also immersing smoothly into a Psychedelic suite and two Space acoustic songs that nicely echo frontman Gabriele Fiori‘s Folk Rock project The Pilgrim. “Superskull” undoubtedly stands as their most generous and tentacular album to date, so be ready to file it under the “all killer no filler” section of your record collection!
It was recorded, mixed and engineered by Fabio Sforza at Forward Studio and mastered by Claudio Pisi Gruer at Pisistudio in Rome, Italy. The cover was designed by Pedro Correa. Check out new singles “Superhero Dopeproof” and “Children Of Fire And Sacrifices.”
