Portuguese Psychedelic Rock powerhouse The Black Wizards are thrilled to announce the release of “Wishing Well,” the third single and a driving force behind their upcoming album, “Force Majeure & The Acts Of God,” set to arrive on September 4, 2026.
Accompanied by an official visualizer, “Wishing Well” is a high-octane track that barrels forward with a frantic proto-Punk energy. The song opens with cascading, tumbling guitar riffs that break into a freewheeling solo, eventually settling into a heavy, “bouncing” stomp for its final act.

This restless musical momentum serves as a direct reflection of the lyrical themes: the exhausting, cyclical battle against internal demons and the struggle to regain one’s footing.
Regarding the inspiration behind the track, the band shares:
Everyone has their own demons, their own battles – that perfect inconvenience that leaves you so angry and exhausted you wish you could rip it out of your head. ‘Wishing Well’ captures the endless cycle of finding the strength to face it, fight it, fall, rise, fall again, and keep starting over, again and again.
