The sonic material is raw, coiled around a simple musical architecture, centered on a masterfully executed epic bass saxophone solo by Marti Melia.

For 5 minutes and 44 seconds of electric trance, Under The Reefs Orchestra unleashes its Free Jazz and Noise influences (Sun Ra, The Thing), spiraling the listener into a captivating journey, exploring unique soundscapes and evocative textures that embody the group’s spirit of exploration and experimentation. The single’s cover art is a creation by artist David Delruelle, who has for years perfectly captured the aesthetic essence of Under The Reefs Orchestra‘s music.
To celebrate this release, Under The Reefs Orchestra will be performing on September 8th, 2023 at La Boule Noire as part of the sixth Capitane Night. Also gracing the stage will be Monolithe Noir and Rodolphe Coster and BAND, promising a night that’s bound to leave a lasting impression.
