Emerging from the depths of the underground, Vast Pyre return with their second full-length, “Bleak,” set for release on November 28th, 2025 through Octopus Rising, the un-parallel label of Argonauta Records. The album will be available in CD, vinyl, cassette and digital formats. Out November 28th, 2025.
The first single, “Tenebrosity’s Path,” is now unveiled, a harrowing introduction to the shadow-cloaked journey that defines “Bleak.” With suffocating riffs and an atmosphere steeped in darkness, the track embodies the uncompromising Doom Vast Pyre have become known for: raw, bleak and unrelenting.
Since their formation in late 2021, Vast Pyre have forged a distinctive path in the Heavy Music scene. Inspired by the colossal weight of genre pioneers yet driven by their own vision, the band’s sound thrives on minimalism, density and an aura of menace that sets them apart in the modern doom landscape.
Their self-titled debut album, released in August 2024, earned attention for its crushing approach and cemented Vast Pyre as a name to watch in the underground. Now, with “Bleak,” the band dives even deeper into oppressive atmospheres and bleak sonic territories, stripping away all comfort and leaving only doom in its purest, most desolate form.
