Vetus Supulcrum, the dark dungeon synth-based project created by Maurice De Jong of Gnaw Their Tongues fame is streaming their entire new album “Windswept Canyons of Thule”, way ahead of its release date set for October 23, 2020 via Burning World Records.
 
The full album is now playing at Cvlt Nation, who commented: “The new Vetus Supulcrum record entitled Windswept Canyons of Thule is an epic journey to a place where we all have the power to be ourselves! The sounds on this sonic offering are vast, majestic, and magical. After three full-lengths and one EP, Maurice De Jong of Gnaw Their Tonguesfame now returns with a Vetus Supulcrum album. New album “Windswept Canyons of Thule” is due out on October 23rd and sees Mories embarking on a journey thru medieval and mystical times evoking images of magical creatures like dragons and demons, grandiose and dark castles, and epic, bloody battles. Mories’ eclectic and unique background in music and especially extreme sonorities has paved the way for him to create some of the darkest and mystical landscapes in the genre capable of transporting listeners to a fantasy world long gone.
