Majestic Mountain Records is proud to announce the signing of Swedish Prog-Sludge collective Vokonis for the release of their yet-untitled fifth album planned for early next year.

The album will be preceded by a three-track EP titled “Exist Within Light,” which is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2023 and sees the Swedes further expanding their prog-inspired landscapes initially explored on their 2019’s breakthrough album “Grasping Time.”
With new guitarist Hedvig Modig now joining the trio comprised of Simona Ohlsson (guitar/vocals), Sven Lindsten (drums) and Oscar Johannesson (bass), the newly expanded four-piece collective merge a Heavy and colossal riffage, a powerful, hard-hitting percussion with some mesmerizing prog textures, complemented by a vocal performance that ranges from gritty howls to clean, smoothing chants.
