El Perro is the project of guitarist and singer Parker Griggs (Radio Moscow). With two guitars and percussion, Griggs expands his Psychedelic Rock cosmos with Latin and Funk influences.
In 2019, Radio Moscow head Parker Griggs founded his new project El Perro in order to try something new and also to allow other influences than those with which he composes for Radio Moscow. At first, he recorded all the songs on his own – including all the instruments and vocal parts. In 2022, the debut album “Hair Of” is released, which is, among other things, album of the month in the French Rolling Stone. The combination of Psychedelic and Funk Rock with Latin Rock and Soul works excellently, yet the heart of a Garage Rocker beats in the songwriting.
Parker Griggs counts such diverse acts as the British Blues Rock icon Peter Green, the US Funk group Funkadelic, the Soul/Disco band The Undisputed Truth or the US Psychedelic legend 13th Floor Elevators among his main musical influences.
