Compilation XXIV

We are proud to present the twenty-fourth chapter of our curated compilation series: PRJ Compilation Vol. XXIV. This edition points its nose toward the outer rim — five bands navigating the territories where stoner weight meets orbital drift, where fuzz and frequency become instruments of displacement rather than mere amplification.

Psychedelic/Space Rock has never been a genre of comfort. At its core, it is music that refuses the ground — a restless transmission from somewhere between the last recognizable landmark and the void. The five tracks collected here approach that territory from different angles: some with the swagger of a desert cruiser pushed past escape velocity, others with the patience of a signal crossing light-years before it reaches you.

The Artists of Volume XXIV

Lunar Kites (Oxford, UK) – Pink Lounge

Purchase “The Doomstar Chronicles” on Bandcamp: https://lunarkites.bandcamp.com/album/the-doomstar-chronicles

Quote from the band:
Welcome to the coolest cocktail bar this side of the Milky Way, possibly the only place where you can still legally order a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. And do check out the video on YouTube. It’s a joyous explosion of aliens and astronauts!

Supersonic Dragon Wagon (San Diego, California) – No Man’s Land

Purchase “No Man’s Land” on Bandcamp: https://supersonicdragonwagon.bandcamp.com/album/no-mans-land

With “No Man’s Land,” Supersonic Dragon Wagon — the Heavy Psychedelic outfit from San Diego, California, active since 2012 — deliver a track that sits precisely where their catalog has always lived: somewhere between Desert Rock momentum and the slow-burning pull of deep space. A decade-plus spent forging riffs that are as much about weight as they are about motion, and “No Man’s Land” reads like a natural extension of that trajectory — Heavy, deliberate, and unhurried in the way only bands who’ve earned their groove can afford to be.

PAMPS! (Paris, France) – Savage Biouti

Purchase “Le Monde Des Tracteurs Geants” on Bandcamp: https://pamplemoussesethyliques.bandcamp.com/album/le-monde-des-tracteurs-geants

Quote from the band:
PAMPS! Les Pamplemousses Ethyliques is a psychedelic space/stoner rock band hailing from Paris, France. First formed by a bunch of high school friends around 2000, it evolved and reached its current form in 2015, with original founders Jean-Pierre Baguette (drums) and Camille “Guitar” Magique (guitar), joined by Dr. Mad Françoué (bass) in 2008. PAMPS! play thunderous walls of psychedelic sounds, where screaming fuzzy guitars intertwine with dazzling-speed drums and relentless bass. If you’d like to hear a unique blend of 70’s psychedelism, desert rock, and odd-meter prog, crank up the volume and get your daily dose of vitamins with PAMPS! Les Pamplemousses Ethyliques!

Altar Of The Fuzz (Ottawa, Ontario) – Space Dust

Purchase “Space Dust” on Bandcamp: https://altarofthefuzz613.bandcamp.com/album/space-dust

Quote from the band:
Space Dust is our fascination with cosmic space rock and a mixture of stoner rock and doom. The freehanded jam near the end was not planned, we just kept going.

Rainbow Patrol (Lethbridge, Alberta) – Orcas Levitate

Purchase “Cataclysm” on Bandcamp: https://rainbowpatrol.bandcamp.com/album/cataclysm

Quote from the band:
From the windy coulees of Lethbridge AB, desert rockers Rainbow Patrol have spent the better part of ten years bringing healing stoner rock grooves to a planet ravaged with unchecked greed, plague and destruction. This has all culminated in the release of 2026’s EP “Cataclysm”, a five track choose-your-own-adventure journey through the many possible world ending events we entertain on a daily basis. We appreciate your commitment to showcasing small artists and let us know if you need anything else!!
