Spanish Instrumental Progressive Jazz-Rock artist Ángel Ontalva published the official music video for the track “She must not die” taken from his new album “Missing Fragments” out on Janaury 13, 2024 via OctoberXart. wsatch the video through the YouTube player below:

In September 2024 I started working on the idea of creating live music for the classic film Vampyr by Carl T. Dreyer. For this project, which I presented live from October to December, I used a mixture of repetitive pre-recorded phrases, some leitmotivs and improvisation. I wrote the first of the pieces included in this album to promote the film, and it was from that point that I began to see the potential of creating a group of compositions developed on the top of short repetitive rhythmic ideas, putting the main emphasis on simplicity and atmospheric coloring. With the exception of the aforementioned She must not die and Scales, which I composed in summer and autumn 2024, all the other pieces included here have been written and recorded in January 2025. The last piece, “Tempestuous Meteorological Conditions,” includes a brief quote of the well-known song Stormy Weather, by Harold Arlen. Besides writing the music, I played guitar and keyboard and also did the cover, as usually.
