Palehorse/Palerider commented: “Join us for an exclusive preorder of our new EP, ‘Waves I.’ This 4-track release marks a significant evolution for Palehorse/Palerider as we continue to shape and define the doomgaze genre. Our focus track, ‘Don’t Leave Me Behind,’ will be available everywhere on January 10th, 2025. The second single, »Lobotomy Domine«, drops globally on January 24th, 2025.

The EP’s centerpiece, ‘Division,’ is available exclusively on ‘Waves I.’ Also as a special tribute, we’ve included a cover of the Cocteau Twins’ ‘Heaven Or Las Vegas’ – a thank you to them and an opportunity to share our take on this iconic track with our fans. All songs to drop together on February 7th, 2025.

Above all, this EP represents our best work yet. The new songs explore deep themes of pain, loss, and love, while reconnecting with the essence of who we are as a band.

Palehorse/Palerider is a Heavy, Atmospheric trio that has carved out a unique space in the music world with their fusion of Shoegaze, Doom Metal, Post-Metal and Progressive Rock into the emerging genre of Doomgaze. Formed in 2016, the band has gained a reputation for crafting haunting, immersive soundscapes that blend crushing riffs, intricate rhythms, and emotionally charged melodies, creating a sonic experience that is as introspective as it is intense.

Drawing on a broad array of influences – from the ethereal, atmospheric qualities of Shoegaze pioneers like Cocteau Twins and My Bloody Valentine, to the Heavy, brooding sound of Jesu and Hum and the raw, immersive intensity of Neurosis and Cult Of LunaPalehorse/Palerider’s music bridges the gap between aggression and beauty. Their style evokes both the sublime and the crushing, with towering walls of sound that envelop listeners in a dark, cathartic journey.

Their lyrics often explore themes of isolation, existential struggle, and the human condition, creating a visceral experience that pulls from the depths of emotional and sonic landscapes. With several critically acclaimed releases to their name, Palehorse/Palerider transports audiences into a realm where heaviness meets fragility, and where aggression gives way to melancholic beauty.

In an era where genre boundaries are increasingly blurred, Palehorse/Palerider has a distinctive take on Doomgaze.
