[News] Australia’s Mish to release second album “Entheogen” internationally through Bird’s Robe Records

As part of the Bird’s Robe Records label 10th anniversary release/re-release series, Sydney Progressive Metal band Mish will release their second album “Entheogen” internationally in May this year.

Available on digital and CD format, the album is a powerful step forward for the band whose 2011 debut album The Entrance earned them a cult following and the opportunity to share stages with local and international luminaries: PelicansleepmakeswavesWe Lost The Sea & more.

Ten years on, their music stands strong amongst modern heavy metal.

Entheogen is a tour de force from this legendary underground outfit. Their rare but much-talked- about live shows, their incendiary reputation and stories history are all evoked on this new record.

Watch the official video for “Entheogen” below:

Sonically, Mish recall Mastodon by way of Isis and Meshuggah. However, it’s their catharsis personal relationship with music that informs this record.

To some, Mish are just another heavy rock band slogging it out in obscurity.

To others, Mish are the epitome of what it means to be saved by music.
