Italian Neo-Psychedelic Rock band Bluedaze published the official video for the track “Knife” taken from their new EP “Flesh” out on June 30, 2023. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
“Knife is a motion of quiet rage that has not yet found its explosion, but meanders beneath the surface, showing all the cracks and fragilities of things as it passes. We are an instant before awareness, when everything is still in place, but already it begins to look different, on the verge of breaking, sinister and bewitching at the same time.”
“Knife” is the new single from Bluedaze, the second track from the “Flesh” EP. The video that accompanies it is a piano sequence entirely entrusted to chance, whose protagonists are laser lights that move without programming around the room, while the band improvises a dance, but to the notes of another song.
Bluedaze are a Neo-Psych/Dream Pop band, born on the shores of Lake Maggiore. In 2020 they released their first album “Skysurfers,” which condenses Psychedelic drifts, surf echoes, a pinch of Dream Pop and catchy melodies. After several concerts around the peninsula, in 2022 Bluedaze returned to the studio to release “Flesh,” released on 30 June 2023, which confirmed the introspective themes of the lyrics and marked a darker turn in the band’s sound.
