Lyrics scribbled inside the front cover of an old English book the Eve of Midsummer, depicting a bare chested voluptuous call girl with flowing brown locks mounting a goat headed beast in an ancient rural English ritual.
The devil’s lettuce influenced words during the great floods of 2022, whilst across the seas the Russians were dropping the first bombs of the Ukranian war. The world was shaping up for an ever more fear inducing climate, the devil weaving new layers into the tale of this world we call our home and the story we call our lives.
Over the next few months, riffs escaped the box and bounced around between all minds of the band. Gradually over the course of 7 months morphing into the song we have today, “Fear Awakens.”
