Portuguese Psychedelic Rock powerhouse The Black Wizards are thrilled to announce the release of “Beat,” the fourth single and a driving force behind their upcoming album, “Force Majeure & The Acts Of God,” set to arrive on September 4, 2026.

Hey y’all, Today we release the last single, “Beat,” before the album drops on 4th September. This song is quite special, since it’s the only one that started with a drumbeat and was built around it — hence the name! It’s a song about fragility, a song about standing in the corner, feeling alone, with nowhere to go. Everyone keeps telling you who you should be or how you should act, but that’s bullshit. There’s beauty in diversity, there’s love in equality, and that’s all that matters. Happy release day, freaks!
“Beat” follows previous singles like “Wishing Well,” “Loose,” “Killing The Buzz” as the band gears up for their most ambitious release to date. “Force Majeure & The Acts Of God” is currently available for pre-order in multiple formats, including a webstore-exclusive vinyl pressing limited to just 300 copies, featuring a fold-out poster and lyric insert. Fans can also pre-order the album on CD and digital formats via Bandcamp, gaining immediate access to three tracks ahead of the full September release.
