The Cinelli Brothers from the UK indulge their passion for music that seems to combine Blues, Soul and Rock’n’Roll, although it is rooted in the Chicago and Texas Blues of the 60s and 70s. The result is an original repertoire in the style of Chess, Stax and Motown.
Interestingly, The Cinelli Brothers don’t just reach older ears, but also attract a younger audience. Their vintage sound is not limited to the simple reproduction of retro elements – rather, they create an entertaining, contemporary conglomerate that delights purists as well as people who just want to have a good time.
Their live performances are characterised by energy, great musicianship and showmanship. The Cinelli Brothers have already toured all over Europe, have been nominated several times for the UK Blues Awards and in 2023 the band came second at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA.
They say about themselves: “We love to follow in the footsteps of our heroes, but we also love to be ourselves without thinking we have to do this or that. Music is also freedom.”
