El Altar Del Holocausto – “Ecos”: Spanish Experimental Post-Rock/Ambient/Doom outfit El Altar Del Holocausto have returned from a period of silence with “ECOS,” their new studio album released on May 14, 2026. Inspired by the migratory cycle of birds, the record presents six instrumental compositions navigating themes of return, persistence, and transformation — moving between contemplation, darkness, and catharsis. Recorded at Metropol Estudios with a visual concept by Reaper Model, it is available on LP vinyl, CD Digipak, and digital formats. [Read More]
Dutch Elm – “You’re Not Invited To That Riff”: Newcastle-based instrumental four-piece Dutch Elm present their self-titled debut album, set for release on June 5, 2026 via Ripcord Records. Balancing the cinematic sweep of Post-Rock with the tension and technical precision of Math-Rock, the record builds a coherent musical universe from interlocking guitars, shifting time signatures, and rhythmic sections that are both demanding and tonally purposeful. The chosen track announces itself with an arresting bass line and a central solo that shifts the dynamic into elaborated Post-Rock language — atmospheric heavy riffs giving way to carefully constructed rhythmic patterns. Rostro Del Sol – “Collapse”: Mexico City ensemble Rostro Del Sol have unveiled a live session recorded at Sala Colima in CDMX, capturing three tracks from their second full-length “Universo 25” — released January 29, 2026 via Echodelic Records, Clostridium Records, Stoners Dealer Records, and Smogles Records. The session brings the full ensemble together — including dual saxophones and dual percussion — for a completely live rendering that showcases their synthesis of Symphonic Progressive Rock, Jazz Rock, Blues, Heavy Psych, and free improvisation. Angine De Poitrine – “Yor Zarad”: Masked Parisian duo Angine De Poitrine — Klek and Khn de Poitrine — have been confirmed on the Levitation 2026 lineup, with the Austin-based imprint simultaneously clearing its final copies of the “Vol. I” vinyl reissue. Operating since 2023 under a self-described manifesto of “Mantra-Rock dada pythago-cubiste”, the duo’s disorienting blend of microtonal guitar, asymmetric rhythms, and real-time looping architecture owes as much to Minimalist Techno as to Avant-Rock. On “Vol. I,” motifs accumulate, dissolve, and reconstitute in perpetual metamorphosis — closer in logic to a DJ set than to a conventional Rock record. [Read More]
XCIII – “Et Quand Il Pleut, Je Danse”: Parisian Avant-Garde outfit XCIII have unveiled the first preview of their forthcoming album “In Puncto Ad Inferna Descendunt,” issued via My Kingdom Music. The project — the creative vision of Guillaume Beringer — inhabits a dreamlike and hypnotic soundscape drawing from references including Ulver, Porcupine Tree, Lunatic Soul, Anathema, and Massive Attack. Oh Hiroshima – “Exit Cloud”: Swedish Post-Rock duo Oh Hiroshima have released “Exit Cloud,” the final pre-release preview from their forthcoming album “And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter,” due June 5, 2026 via Pelagic Records. The track unfolds as a slow-burning meditation on loss, longing, and impermanence, its waves of distortion pierced by moments of aching stillness. Recorded with contributions from ten additional musicians — including drums tracked at Studio Gröndahl with Karl Daniel Lidén — and mixed and mastered by Magnus Lindberg, it represents the duo’s most ambitious production to date. Only Echoes – “Steps Ahead Of Drowning”: Denver, Colorado Post-Metal quartet Only Echoes have announced their sophomore full-length “Born Adrift,” due August 14, 2026 on Braeburn Records, alongside the release of the first single and accompanying video. The seven-minute track — built on towering riffs, slow-burning atmosphere, and crushing dynamic shifts — moves from fragile restraint into tidal waves of distortion, encapsulating the album’s themes of drifting, endurance, and transformation. Produced, engineered, and mixed by guitarist Austin Minney at All Aces Studio; mastered by Brad Smalling at Evergroove. [Read More]
By Million Wires – “Over”: Polish Indie/Atmospheric Post-Rock band By Million Wires have broken a 14-year silence with their new EP “Not Over,” released May 1, 2026. Formed in 2007 in Tarnów, southern Poland, the returning lineup — now fronted vocally by guitarist and founder Mirek Skrok — describe the five-track EP as a journey from dreamlike Post-Rock toward a more mature and direct alternative form, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Krzysztof Krupa at Raven Studio. Cløudy Skies – “Depth Spell”: French Atmospheric Post-Metal duo Cløudy Skies — Lionel Forest and Nicolas Simon — have returned via Argonauta Records with “Depth Spell,” the lead single from a new album currently in development and planned for autumn release. Following their acclaimed 2023 debut “Changes,” the track pushes their signature blend of cinematic Post-Rock dynamics, Shoegaze textures, and Post-Metal weight into darker, more hypnotically layered territory. Man Mountain – “Bright Oblivion”: Detroit instrumental Post-Rock quartet Man Mountain have announced “Threads of Another Life,” their first full-length in six years, arriving July 24, 2026 via Spartan Records. Built across five years marked by isolation and personal transformation, the seven-track album channels the emotional weight of the pandemic era into expansive instrumental compositions that balance crushing intensity with cinematic atmosphere. Produced by Jeremy Wurst in Nebraska and mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, it represents the band’s most immersive and emotionally resonant work to date. [Read More]
