Five years ago Toronto’s Earth’s Yellow Sun released their sophomore EP “The Infernal Machine”. Now to celebrate the anniversary of that EP, they are re-releasing the tracks in the form of animated videos. The band has unleashed two videos so far,“Part I – Assembly” and “Part II – Unveiling”. The band unveil their third video for the track “Part III – Betrayal”,continuing the next chapter of their illustrated story.
The band explains the track: “‘Part III – Betrayal’, the robot realizes the contradiction between its core mission of bringing peace and stability to the world, and the violent path that has bet set for it by its human creators. The intelligence chooses to revise its own mission parameters, and proceeds to turn on the human civilization in order to bring peace and stability to the world at large. Violence ensues.”
