French Post-Noise Rock/Psychedelic Rock band Dirty Shades published the official lyric video for the track “Overdue Rage” taken from upcoming debut album “Stuck In Motion” due out on October 25, 2024 via Modulor Music. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:

Recorded and mixed by Michel Toledo at Black Box Studio, and composed with the expert advice of Laurent Paradot (Gâtechien, Headcases), “Stuck In Motion” maintains a constant balance between naturally soaring trance and heightened intensity. Riffs and walls of noisy sound flesh out the sonic palette, enhanced by a rhythm section that’s guaranteed to get your brain in knots. On top of all that, Anouk Degrande‘s voice is more chanted and shouted than usual, perfectly suited to delivering heartfelt lyrics about injustice and discrimination.

Another strong point of Dirty Shades is the voice of Anouk Degrande, who delivers a performance that’s more chanted and shouted than ever, although she’s still at ease with clear vocals. It’s a challenge she rises to with honors, putting her heart and soul into more interpretation and showing herself to be even more expressive. “Stuck In Motion” is also marked by “Secret Sound,” one of the singles already unveiled, sung entirely by Martin Degrande, the band’s bassist and the singer’s brother. On every stage, the lyrics and declamation are totally skin-deep.
